Bonanza for bargain hunters as SOTA launches travel promotion for consumers
Kuala Lumpur, March 7, 2011 – There’s a major boost for travel bargain hunters planning to visit this month’s MATTA Fair in Kuala Lumpur. They may choose from a fantastic range of travel packages using vouchers available from SOTA (Standard Online Tourism Architecture).
SOTA is a web-based platform now used by more than 16,000 travel agents and tourism operators in over 24 markets.
To help celebrate MATTA Fair, a major tourism industry event staged by the Malaysian Association of Tour Travel Agents, SOTA is offering 2,000 vouchers (each worth RM100) at a discount of 50 percent. Each consumer may purchase up to five vouchers.
The vouchers, on sale from 7 March, are redeemable against packages offered by SOTA’s member agents participating in the MATTA Fair. Consumers may also redeem the vouchers online against any package offered by a SOTA agent on the popular website www.sota.travel.
“Consumer confidence is returning in travel and tourism and we’re predicting growth across the region in 2011. But consumers are, as ever, demanding exceptional value for money and our voucher promotion helps them to buy a dream vacation or attraction experience at a tremendous price,” says Vincent Kok, SOTA’s Chief Operating Officer.
“If any consumers are unable to visit the Fair they may still use the vouchers to purchase online,” adds Vincent Kok.
SOTA is also offering prizes to consumers that recommend friends to participate in the voucher promotion. More details: www.sota.travel.Posted
