Proceed to Raja Laut Pier for a 10-minute ferry ride across the channel to Butterworth on the mainland. Drive pass the Prai Industrial Estate towards the township of Seberang Jaya and visit the five-acre Penang Bird Park housing a fine collection of nearly 800 birds in specially designed aviaries. On the return journey, travel across the Penang Bridge - an impressive structure linking peninsular Malaysia and Penang Island.
