ARRIVE HANOI. 

 

Meet on arrival at Hanoi Noi Bai International Airport, transfer to hotel for check in. Rest of the day is at your leisure. 

 

In the evening you will attend a performance of the famous Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry at Thang Long Theatre.  

 

Dinner and Overnight in Hanoi.

HANOI-HALONG BAY 

 

After breakfast, transfer (165 km east of Hanoi) to Halong Bay that is listed as a World Heritage Area due to its outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea” as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay has more than 1,000 limestone islets rising from the sea, many of them containing beautiful grottoes (caves).  

 

Upon arrival, board the wooden junk to visit Halong Bay. While cruising through the bay, seafood lunch is served on board. Visit Thien Cung & Dau Go Caves; circle Tuan Chau, Ga Choi, Dinh Huong, Dog and Sail islands. In the evening, the junk will berth at the beautiful crescent shaped Titop Beach. 

 

Overnight at Halong on board the junk.

HALONG BAY-HANOI 

 

In the morning, the junk continues its cruise to Man's Head and Tortoise Islands, Luan Cave, Bai Tu Long Bay, Toad Island and Bai Tho Mountain. Enjoy the brunch (breakfast and lunch) on board.  

 

Disembark at Halong Pier and driven back to Hanoi. A stop will be made along the way for rest and shopping. 

 

After checking in to your hotel, free for the day. 

 

Go shopping (on your own) at Hanoi's Old Quarter or also known as the 36 Streets. This is a very crowded and raucous area due to the many shops and stalls that sell a variety of of local food, household goods, handicrafts and fashion items such as silk, clothes, and jewellery. 

 

Dinner is at local restaurant.  

 

Overnight in Hanoi.

DEPART HANOI. 

 

After breakfast, a half-day Hanoi city tour starts with a visit to Ho Chi Minh’s House, Museum and outside of his Mausoleum (closed on Monday & Friday). Later, among other sights, are the iconic One-Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature, built in the 11th century as Vietnam’s first university. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.  

 

Free time until transferred to Hanoi Noi Bai International Airport for your onward flight. 

 

Note : City tour can be changed to first day if arrival is in the morning.
